Abstract: The paper’s target is t make m re understandable the pr perties f p lymer netw rk c mp sites made up f re-entrant cell structures (auxetic hexag ns) with dem nstrable auxetic pr perties. The behavi r f auxetic c mp sites is interpreted in the light f C sserat elasticity which admits degrees f freed m n t present in the classical elasticity the r tati n f p ints in the material, and a c uple per unit area r the c uple stress. The predicti n f the Y ung’s m dulus is devel ped f r a laminated peri dic material made up f alternating aluminum and auxetic material, by using the Laplace and F urier transf rms.
