Abstract: The paper presents the theoretic calculus, using the displacements’ method of the coupling matrices for force/torque sensors, composed of static undetermined rods, which support strain gauges mounted in eight Wheatstone bridges. The configuration with four horizontal and four vertical rods is considered. Theoretical results are compared with the experimental data, measured on a sensor, developed and manufactured in the laboratory.
