| Abstract: | The transportation means generate in the urban environment noises and vibrations which affect the human life and activity. In the paper we present the results obtained in the reduction of the noise generated by the transportation means in the urban environment: specific sources, characteristic spectra and levels, noxious effects, admissible limits, propagation way, description of measurements and analysis of the results by the computer as well as the establishment of some methods concerning the reduction of the noise and their way of implementation in the urban environment |
