Abstract: | The use of copper as the preffered material for more and more supply systems, including those for natural gas, is a generalised worldwide trend. In the given context, this article presents the technology used on crimped conections between copper pipes and fittings for natural gas supply installations and the high temperature preformance testing procedures for the resulting assemblies using a system designed, built and tested by the authors. |
