Abstract: | As medical knowledge grows exponentially, it is important that medicine graduates be prepared to continuously engage in new forms of learning in the future. This article provide evidences from recent research studies for designing teaching framework to facilitate active learning for medicine students. Active learning is a key element in knowledge retention, deep learning and academic performance. Current research shows that new approaches to teaching healthcare are: self-regulated learning, computer assisted learning, simulation and problem solving. |
