Abstract: Infection with human papilloma virus (HPV) is one of the most common infections that are sexually transmitted. Infection with oncogenic types of HPV increased risk of malignant processes contributes to the emergence of anogenital, anal and oropharyngeal malignant processes. With the introduction of the Pap test for the first time in 1950, cervical cancer incidence and mortality have fallen dramatically, however affects and still kills a lot of women each year. Preventive measures that could prevent over 93% of all cases of cervical cancer uterine include: Pap testing, HPV tests and HPV vaccine administration. The emergence over time (2006, 2007 and 2014) of the three vaccines available has created many controversies, starting from its difficulty to manufacture to which type of vaccine is recommended to administer. Controversy persists despite vaccination until 2016 over 20 million women and outcomes that have appeared
