Abstract: Breast cancer is a malignancy with a very high frequency in women, having several forms, the most common being followed by lobular carcinoma ductal carcinoma. The research team made and administered questionnaires with questions and suggested answers that covered various issues: status of health insurance, history of cancer in their families, the frequency of self-examination breast, guiding self-examination of the breasts, frequency of performing ultrasound and mammography, sources of information concerning the prevention and the treatment of breast cancer, causes of breast cancer, reliability of oncologic system in Romania, the assessment of their health status. It was noticed that both healthy women and those diagnosed with breast cancer have confidence or trust in the medical oncology in Romania because it was observed that many patients with breast cancer were monitored and controlled by system oncology at long period of time.
