Abstract: This paper presents an analysis of the influence of the radius for four most common types of misalignment shapes on the continuous welded rail track (CWR) stability under the effect of thermal and vehicle loads. Based on the safety criteria from UIC 720 Leaflet [5], [8], it was evaluate the limit values of radius for each type of misalignment shapes for alignment and respectivelly for curves.
