Abstract: The applicability of Fibre Reinforced Polymer reinforcements to concrete structures as substitute for steel bars or prestressing tendons has been actively studied in numerous research laboratories and professional organization around the world.[1]. In this article I wish to present the use of fibre reinforced polymer in concrete structures. In our country this field is at the beginning, but worldwide they are already used as reinforcement structures, as well as for their consolidation.
