| Abstract: | The seismic action incurs additional stress conditions over the structures as compared to the ones caused by the normal operation of the building.
It is the case of a building of ground floor type intended for warchouse for which the action of the earthquake of 1986 highlighted the cracking of supporting elements such as short brackets, located at the upper part of the reinforced concrete pillars or at the lower part of the longitudinal beams.
The experiment aimed at the evaluation of the level of restoration of the carrying capacity in the metallic version of consolidation. |
