Abstract: The paper describes the way a vehicle-pedestrian collision process takes place, aiming to a better understanding of the phenomena that appear within the dynamic of this kind of road events. The aim of this study was to determinate the acceleration and speed value of head and thorax from pedestrian involved in accident. Analyzing these values can contribute to a better way to solve the dynamics of the accident and also to improve the passive safety.
