| Abstract: | Hydraulic imbalances tend to affect the thermal behavior of
borehole heat exchangers used in case of ground coupled heat pumps,
GCHP. The paper is focused on the influence of the layout of the borehole
field and on the necessity of the balancing valves on the thermal efficiency of
a GCHP A central loop and a subcentral loop have been analyzed in order
to find out the optimal connection with lowest costs and improved efficiency
of the GCHP system . |
