Abstract: The findings of an investigation into the electric field influence on the process of the flat wall cooling are presented. The high-voltage electrode geometry, field parameters, heat carrier temperature and interelectrode spacing have been optimized. A high efficiency of the electrode made in the form of a grid with holes in the insulation coating is established.
