Abstract: The compressed systems consumption represents a significant part of the total industrial electrical usage, but, generally, the technical solutions are not considered as in the pumping systems case. The paper presents a monitoring system design and application in order to emphases energy saving solution for compressed network operation optimization. Recommendations could refer to the distribution network, but also to the compressors and auxiliary equipments. Best practices recommendations for selection, installation, maintenance and operation of all the equipment and components within the compressed air networks are considered as possible results.
