Abstract: In this paper is presented a comparison of the numerical experiment results which were achieved
with SCFJ and CWERRI softwares for 252 cases, which are accredited by the European Rail Research
Institute (ERRI) as the most representative for all possible situations of CWR track buckling behaviour [1],
[3]. The program SCFJ (Stabilitatea Căii Fără Joante = Stability of CWR track) [2], which was developed at
the Civil Engineering Faculty from the University Transilvania of Braşov, gave results in a very good
agreement with those of the program CWERRI, which was developed at the TU Delft (Holland) for the
International Union of Railways (UIC) [1].2007-10-31T22:00:00Z
